HNLMS Mercurr (Norway) is a torpedo and diving tender. She displaces 1400 tonnes and was introduced into service in 1987.

For a disabled submarine below the depths divers can work, an Atmospheric Diving Suit will allow the same tasks to be carried out. As the image above shows, the ADS is a sef contained, one man submersible suit and is capable of long endurance dives down to the maximum depths that rescues can be performed.
